Illuminati Conspiracy: What Can You Believe?

 

Recently while trawling around the internet I came across a website called The Vigilant Citizen  where I learned everything I ever wanted to know about Illuminati conspiracy theory, but was afraid to ask. I have to admit it's been a pretty fascinating ride.  The basic gist is that the masses are being controlled and manipulated by the elite (one percenters) via the media, the entertainment industry and even real or contrived tragedies such as 9/11 and Sandy Hook.  

With the disappearance of a middle class and the ever widening gap between rich and poor, it is evident that something in this world has gone very, very wrong and evil, especially in the form of excessive greed, is afoot.  We are all searching for answers and Illuminati conspiracy theorists do provide them, though to me some of them seem far-fetched.  Here's what I think you can believe:

• There is an elite group of movers and shakers that essentially run the world.  They have such wealth and power that they can  literally shape world affairs in order to advance their own agenda.  Among those accused of being members of the Illuminati are old money folks such as the Rockefellers, high-powered politicos such as the Clintons and Henry Kissinger, and pop entertainers such as Jay-Z and Tommy Mottola.  So, a wide range of different types of people.  According to The Vigilant Citizen (my go to source for updates on what the Illuminati is up to), a high concentration of Illuminati members may be found in these groups:

"The main elite groups and councils are: the International Crisis Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the World Economic Forum, the Brookings Institution, Chatham House, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group. The Bohemian Club is known to hold informal gatherings of the world elite punctuated with strange ceremonies and rituals. The Club’s insignia is an Owl similar to the one found on the Bavarian Illuminati’s Minerval seal."

• The Illuminati's ultimate goal is a "New World Order" with one world currency, religion and political philosophy.  Why? you may ask.  My answer is simple:greed and vanity-so that their ideologies are advanced and their economic superiority is assured for eternity. 

          There are those who maintain that the ultimate goal is to systematically erode our civil liberties(asserting the Department of Homeland Security is an agent of the Illuminati created to do just this in the wake of 9/11), take away our guns (asserting Sandy Hook was intentionally perpetrated to just this end), and then throw us all in forced labor camps to do their bidding.  I hope I am right in believing these conspiracy theorists (aka truthers) are wrong about this.  

• The Illuminati have pawns in the media and entertainment industry to advance their agendas and all they have to do to keep them in line is to keep paying them.  They symbolically sell their soul to the devil.  Miley Cyrus is a perfect example of an "artist" who went from a wholesome Disney star to a seemingly libidinous miscreant almost overnight and all for fame and fortune.

          Hardcore Illuminati theorists believe Miley, Britney, Lady Gaga and more are literally mind control slaves of the Illuminati.  They say the victim is programmed through use of pain and deprivation to the point where he/she disassociates from the primary personality and adopts a new one that is malleable to the programming of a handler.  In short, all this seems a tad fantastical to me.
